Ameritec AM7 Central Office Simulator
A Programmable Simulator of Central Office or PABXSwitches
for Testing of CPE and Network Equipment.The Ameritec
Model AM7 COSimulator is capable of simulating manyof the functions of Central Officeswitches,
PABX switches or the PublicSwitched Telephone Network
(PSTN).The AM7 is user programmable,allowing
realistic testing when an actualswitch is not
available.
The AM7 mainframe is a miniature,high
performance, non-blocking digitalswitch. It is
capable of switching up to48,000 calls per hour, and
has 10 optioncard slots for installation of plug-ininterfaces. Interface options includeAnalog
Loop/Ground Start, 2- or 4-wireE&M, 1.544Mbps T1
and 1.544MbpsSLC®96 linecards.
Line card types can bemixed in the same unit to
simulatemultiple switch interfaces. |
