Keytek 801-4 IEC-IEEE Burst Generator
The Thermo-Keytek 801-4 EFT Burst Generator fully meets the EFT/Noise TM burst generation specifications of IEC 1000-4-4 (IEC 801-4) 0, as well as the revised ANSI/IEEE C62.41. The Keytek 801-4 incorporates a built-in coupler/decoupler (coupler/filter) for single-phase ac power lines up to 277V, 50-60 Hz, to 20A . Note: the EFT may be coupled to one, two or all three ac input lines (including green ground) individually or simultaneously.
The unit provides the IEC-specified bursts of 5 ns/50 ns double exponential impulses at a 50 ohm output impedance. Totally repeatable waveforms, high reliability and long life are key features of the design . Voltage is adjustable from 250V to 4.4 kV. Repetition rate meets the IEC and ANSI/IEEE requirements of 5 kHz to 2 kV, and 2.5 kHz to 4.4 kV. Burst length is from 1 to 20 ms ; burst repetition period is 0.3s to 5s.
