AC Dropout Simulator
The model 1500 AC Dropout Simulator employs rugged thyristor current switching and carries a load current rating of 15 amperes rms at 115 Vac or 10 amperes at 230 Vac, 50/60 Hz single phase. The model 1500 will tolerate non-recurring load current surges of up to 150 amps.
Applications
- Testing power supply turn-on delay and hold-up time
- Check microcomputer power-on resets or power interrupt routines
- Test UPS transfer characteristics, cycle ac loads, evaluate low current circuit breakers and fuses, or test relays and contactors
