Ultra Sensitive TLD Reader
The
instrument utilizes either peak or integral readout methods and can be user-programmed for
a wide range of readout cycles to optimize the response of LiF, CaF2:
Mn or other materials. The 2810 will read bulbs, chips, rods and glass encapsulated
chips.
- Detectability less than 100 micro R
- Wide dynamic range
- Flexibility in establishing readout cycles
- Autoranging digital readout over seven decades
- Reads wide variety of TLD configurations
Specifications
- Range: 0.01 mR to 199.9 kR, autoranging over 7 decades
- Heater Current Regulation: Heater current displayed with 3 digit resolution,
repeatability within 1 digit. Heating rates up to 30°C/sec
- Readout Cycles: The readout cycle of the 2810 consists of 7 adjustable periods
which allows preheating, readout and annealing of a variety of TL materials. The
seven periods are labeled: 1) purge; 2) preheat; 3) cool; 4) readout;
5) anneal 1; 6) anneal 2; 7) cool. Any combination of these 7
periods can be selected to provide a custom programmed cycle
- Types of Dosimeter Read: Designed primarily to read CaF2:
Mn bulbs and also readily reads chips, rods and glass encapsulated TLD's
- Display: 3½ digit LED for exposure reading. Range changes, overrange and
interrupted cycle displayed on associated readout. Gas flow meter
- Outputs: Autoranging recorder output, 0-10 v linear
