Victoreen 2810 Ultra Sensitive TLD Reader
The instrument utilizes either peak or integral readout methods and can be user-programmed for a wide range of readout cycles to optimize the response of LiF, CaF2: Mn or other materials. The 2810 will read bulbs, chips, rods and glass encapsulated chips.
Features
- Detectability less than 100 micro R
- Wide dynamic range
- Flexibility in establishing readout cycles
- Autoranging digital readout over seven decades
- Reads wide variety of TLD configurations
Specifications
| Range |
0.01 mR to 199.9 kR, autoranging over 7 decades |
| Heater Current Regulation |
Heater current displayed with 3 digit resolution, repeatability within 1 digit. Heating rates up to 30°C/sec |
| Readout Cycles |
The readout cycle of the 2810 consists of 7 adjustable periods which allows preheating, readout and annealing of a variety of TL materials. The seven periods are labeled: 1.) purge 2.) preheat 3.) cool 4.) readout; 5.) anneal 1 6.) anneal 2 7.) cool. Any combination of these 7 periods can be selected to provide a custom programmed cycle |
