The microammeter has measuring ranges from 1 µA to 100 mA full scale deflection. To register currents less than 1 µA with sufficient accuracy and sensitivity, the current circuit should be isolated from ground.
The unit contains an output for connection to an external recorder. This connection accepts a standard 6.3 mm, stereo headphone jack. The output for the recorder is available in the following connections:
- Connection 1: 0 to 1 milliampere output, tip conductor to outer (base) conductor.
- Connection 2: 0 to 10 milliampere output, center conductor to outer conductor.
The max voltage between the outer conductor and the chassis is 30 volts. |
