Ohm-Spun resistance cards are woven with special wirewith virtually zero temperature coefficient of resistance,thus ensuring excellent output current stability. Theresistance cards are PBI fiber filled with heat-resistantcement and are supported in open air to allow the highest power dissipation with minimum wire temperature. Afolding stand can raise the unit to increase air circulation.

The Megger / Multi-Amp Type W is available with a dual- voltage primary of 120and 240 Vac. Convenient toggle switches provide currentcontrol in 0.25-ampere steps when operating at 120 Vac orin 0.125-ampere steps at 240 Vac.

The Megger / Multi-Amp Type W 50-ampere ac voltage load is designed tobe inserted directly in series with the circuit whose currentis to be adjusted. Connection is made through a singlepair of heavy-duty terminals. This dual-voltage load has arugged switch for selection of the desired operatingvoltage.
