| Human Equivalent Antenna
The Narda Model 8858 Human Equivalent Antenna closely simulates the impedance of an average human being 50 Hz to 110 MHz. The Model 8858 consists of two removable antenna sections supported by a third antenna section with an integral adjustable tripod stand. It is specifcally designed to be used with the Model 8850 Induced Current Meter or the Model 8854B Induced Current Monitor/Workmat. The Model 8858 maked induced current measurements both safe and repeatable.
The Model 8858 permits measurement of induced current without the necessity for exposing human subjects to RF Fields. The Model 8858 simulates a person approximately 69 inches (175 cm) tall.
