Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge with Datalogging

The Krautkramer Branson DME DL Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge and Data Logger is a hand-held, micropressor controlled instrument designed for general thickness measurements and on site data logging on a variety of equipment having access to one side only. It is especially applicable to the measurement of remaining wall thickness on tubes, pipes, pressure vessels, and other parts subject to wall thickness loss due to corrosion or erosion.

The on board Data Logger of the DME DL improves the reliability of recording thickness readings by avoiding the errors of misread and misrecorded data. A total of 1200 readings can be stored in up to 99 separate data files. Displayed readings are recorded by simply pressing the SEND key or an optional remote switch. Measurement, statistical and instrument data can be transmitted via the Serial I/O port, in 24 column format, to a serial printer or personal computer for documentation, storage and analysis.

Velocity Mode enables simple calibration when velocity is known
High Speed Minimum Capture mode captures and displays the minimum thickness measured from a series or rapid sequence of readings
T-minimum (MIN) Alarm Mode alerts the user when the measured thickness is less than the set minimum
On board memory saves calibration settings when DME DL automatically shuts off
Compatibility with DM2, DM3, DM2E and DME probes assures maximum versatility
Three "AA" replaceable alkaline batteries provide up to 300 hours of operation
Electroluminescent backlight enables use in low light
