Inside Sales /Rental Agent
We are presently seeking an experienced Inside Sale Representative to work in our Equipment Rentals department. This role is responsible to successfully develop qualified leads for new customer acquisition via outbound calling. They will also work with previous customers with the goal of account reacquisition. The ideal candidate will contact decision makers within companies nationwide by proactively prospecting, applicating, presenting and closing sales over the phone; responding to website inquiries and taking calls from prospective clients by performing the following duties:
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Making outbound follow up calls
- Closing sales and regularly maintaining accounts
- Handling incoming inquiries by providing technical knowledge of equipment to the customer selling value and solutions
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in pricing items
- Accomplish sales goals set by management
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of Inside Sales Experience and/or outbound calling, telesales or telemarketing
- 2 year (AS) technical degree or some technical courses a plus
- Military Experience in a Technical Position a plus
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and close sales
- Ability to multitask and manage concurrent selling situations
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft CRM, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used within a Sales Department
Preferred:
4 year degree in Technical, Electronics or Engineering (BS, BA, EE)
Previous experience within technical industry
Knowledge of electronics, test equipment & instrumentation a definite plus
