Universal / Time Interval Counters
A time interval measurement is described as the measurement of the elapsed time between the designated start and stop of phenomena. Time interval measurements counter natural, real-time observations. Timer Interval Counters instead are used to measure electric delays, pulse widths, and other time related electrical phenomena that rudimentary time counters (like a stop-watch) cannot. These measurements are used in the development and maintenance of communications, navigation, television, and other systems, measuring electrical events spaced as close as 0.1 nanosecond. Advanced Test Equipment Rentals carries Universal and Time Interval Counters by Agilent and Yokogawa.
