Gabe Alcala Secretary of IEEE San Diego Section, and Quality Manager at Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC), will be in Anaheim, CA to speak at the 2016 IEEE Symposium on Product Compliance Engineering (ISPCE) May 16 – 18.
Alcala's presentation "Introduction to RF Safety Test Equipment" will cover radio frequency (RF) health and safety concerns, as well as appropriate testing procedure. Alcala is well versed in international test and compliance standards. He has worked in the test equipment industry for over eight years. As Quality Manager at Advanced Test Equipment Rentals, Alcala ensures the quality of products, calibration, and experience for customers. He is also a participant in San Diego's vibrant science, mathematics, technology, and engineering (STEM) community. Alcala is an active member of the IEEE San Diego section, and has been an instrumental part of their mission to foster technological innovation and excellence in San Diego. IEEE San Diego provides a forum for local residents to engage with world leading experts on technological and medical advancements.
Alcala will be speaking at this year's IEEE ISPCE conference. The event focuses on enhancing personal product safety engineering skills, and providing outreach to: engineers, students, and others with an interest in the field.
