Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC) is a global leader in renting compliance and pre-compliance test and measurement equipment for meeting all levels of testing standards. ATEC has entered into a partnering agreement with AE Techron to carry the 3110 Audio-Bandwidth Standards Waveform Generator for short and long term rentals.
The AE Techron 3110 is a freestanding waveform generator with its own built in computer. It connects to monitors with an HDMI port, and has USB connections for keyboard and mouse. The 3110 is designed for testing to compliance standards and is pre-loaded with a standards library that covers military, aviation, telecom, product, automotive, and several other test categories. Users can also create and save their own standards tests with easy drag-drop features. The system holds up to 300,000 tests without needing a SD memory card.
The AE Techron 3110 can be combined with other audio-frequency equipment. It connects to amplifiers with a SIM ribbon cable connector or the signal out port. The machine can create tests with up to six waveforms, including: sine, ripple, DC, triangle, square, sawtooth, and four controls. The controls can manipulate the duration and playback features of the waves. The machine can set patterns to loop for up to 49 days. The AE Techron 3110 can also save other test equipment from damage by instantly halting testing if an amplifier fault occurs.
"We are glad that we can provide the AE Techron 3110 for rent to our customers. It has new features that make the testing process simpler; we are most excited about the built in standards library, and the internal arbitrary waveform generator," said Ryan Trader, Senior Account Manager at Advanced Test Equipment Rentals. "Normally customers would have to get a separate arbitrary waveform generator for testing. The fact that it comes with it as an internal feature means less equipment. Also the 3110 compliments our other AE Techron products, like the popular 7224 and 7996 Power Amplifiers, as well as the T2000 Low Frequency Conducted Susceptibility Transformer."
