The FP7050/Kit includes the FP7050 probe, 10 meter glass cable, international battery charger and carrying case.
The FP7050 is a broadband isotropic electric field measurement instrument for use in EMC and EMI applications. The FP7050 communicates through glass fiber optic cables (up to 100 meter cable between the FM7004 and the FP7050) to the master control center FM7004. Unlike typical field probes that use diode sensors, the FP7050 employs a thermal sensor designed to measure the high field strength of pulsed (radar) fields. The thermal sensor design gives this probe the ability to read the true Root Mean Squared (RMS) level of a given field. This probe only returns composite values.
