The Biddle MBITE Battery Impedance Tester is a lightweight, compact tester that incorporates advanced design and capability for the increasingly accepted and practical technology of battery impedance testing. In addition to measuring battery AC impedance and interconnection resistance, the MBITE also measures individual DC terminal voltages.
The MBITE measures impedance values and DC voltage for all lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells up to a capacity of 250 Ah and greater depending onsite conditions. Specific system environments may permit testing of larger Ah cells. This information lets the operator determine cell replacement criteria based on Impedance trends. The MBITE also identifies weak cells in a battery string and pinpoints unsatisfactory intercell and/or interior connection conditions.
