The Endevco 6634A/6634AT Vibration Amplifier is an extremely versatile instrument for measuring, monitoring, and analyzing the vibration of jet engines, generators, machinery, turbines, pumps.
 

Designed to be used with the Endevco Model 4948 Rack.
 

Note: The 6634AT adds an additional BNC input connector.

Output Characteristics
  • Connections: Single-ended with one side connected to circuit ground

Linear Output Voltage

  • Broadband Output: ±5.0 V pk min., 10 V pk typical
  • Selected Outputs: ±1.0 V pk full scale, linear to ±5 V pk at 1 mA max.
  • DC Output: ±1.0 V dc full scale, linear to ±5 V dc at 1 mA max.
  • Galvanometer (optional): Adjustable to 6 V pk, 10 to 5000 Hz, decreasing at 6 dB per octave above 5000 Hz. Current linear to 85 mA pk, limited at 100 mA pk for loads of 10 ohms or more.

Output Impedance

  • AC Outputs: 25 ohms max. in series with 11 µf
  • DC Output: 10 ohms max.
  • Galvanometer Output (optional): 1 ohms max.
  • Overload Recovery Time: Negligible for up to 100,000 pC peak input from an accelerometer

Transfer Characteristics

  • Acceleration Range: 5, 15, 150 g pk, with accelerometer input
  • Velocity Range: 1.5, 5, 15 in./s pk
  • Displacement Range: 5, 15, 150, mil pk-to-pk (double amplitude)

Accelerometer Input
  • Connection: Single-ended or differential input
  • Accelerometer Sensitivity: Variable 1 to 11 and 10 to 110 pC/g
  • Source Resistance: Input restricted to capacitive devices with not less 100 k ohms between signal leads and 1 M ohms between either signal lead and ground. Under certain conditions the amplifier will operate with as low as 10 k ohms source resistance.
  • Source Capacitance: 20, 000 pF maximum between signal leads and also between either lead and ground

Velocity Transducer Input

  • Transducer Sensitivity: Variable 10 to 110 and 100 to 1100 mV/in./s or greater
  • Input Resistance: 10 k ohms typical (Both sides insulated from ground)
  • Source Capacitance: 30,000 pF maximum
