The IFI PT82-2KW Pulse TWT Amplifier is a microwave testing device which delivers 2,000W of pulse power at a frequency range of 2-8 GHz and produces 2 kW of rated power. The IFI PT82-2KW arms technicians to analyze modern automated test systems quickly and efficiently, with selection switches to designate your desired mode of operation and all operating parameters simultaneously available on the front panel display. The unit's modular design minimizes internally produced EMI signal leakage while allowing easy accessibility for field service. This guarantees rapid turnaround at depot level repair facilities. To prevent overheating, redundant thermal and airflow sensors alert technicians at dangerous temperatures, and VSWR protection is built-in to safeguard against reflected voltage waves interfering with testing. The sophisticated testing features of the IFI PT82-2KW are complimented by a sleek LCD-screen interface displaying power indication, status and self-diagnostic information. Both IEEE-488 and RS-232 interfaces are included.
