IFI SMC Solid State Amplifiers offer outstanding RF performance, their solid state design both decreasing EMI signal leakage and increasing ease of use for technicians. The SMC series is available in a wide range of power levels from 10 watts to 3000 watts in the 80 – 1000 MHz frequency range. These innovative power amplifiers are specifically designed for laboratory and testing applications. IFI SMC amplifiers are built to operate below maximum ratings for long term reliability, their sixth generation LDMOS Transistors providing brute-power performance at frequencies up to 1000 MHz. Reliable and versatile, IFI SMC Solid State Amplifier Series’ modular design construction allows for the joint use of multiple units, increasing the maximum rated power to 9000 watts per minute if three units are used in conjunction. From the ground up, IFI SMC Series products are structurally engineered to withstand operation in mechanically hostile environments. Each unit’s RF power amplifiers feature heavy-duty individually shielded aluminum housing at the module level with ruggedized versions available for applications that will be exposed to harsh conditions. This concept of a shielded, modular design minimizes internally produced EMI signal leakage.

The IFI SMC Solid State Amplifier Series includes the SMC10, SMC25, SMC50, SMC100, SMC150, SMC200, SMC250, SMC350, SMC500, SMC750, SMC1000, SMC2000, SMC2500 and SMC3000 models.
