Vector Signal Generators (VSG)
Vector signal generators, or VSGs, simulate the communication between wireless towers and cell phones, producing signals that adjust for the device’s movement and trajectory. A VSG emits repeating or non-repeating RF signals and is different from a standard RF signal generator in that it augments a signal with complex modulations. VSGs feature high bandwidth and high-power operation with versatile waveform switching to work even when the waveform is sophisticated, such as smartphone testing.
ATEC rents a variety of vector signal generators, and we also provide receivers to analyze the transmitted signal. See Signal Analyzers for more.
