
Doble F3S 3Φ Test System
The Doble Model F3-S 3Φ Test System provides five independent ac channels for testing polyphase protective relays and other multiphase equipment that require up to 3 phases of 50 or 60 Hertz voltage and/or current. Each channel produces its output electronically by ACTIVE SOURCES™ technology, which provides pure current or voltage sine waves whose amplitude and relative phase angle can be accurately set and precisely displayed with digital controls. These outputs are unaffected by variations in the mains power voltage or distortion, ambient temperature shifts, or load impedance changes over a broad operating range. The test voltages and currents simulate the normal and fault values from potential transformers (PTs) and current transformers (CTs) that reduce system power levels to the rated values of protective relays and other measurement devices.
