Hardness Testers
Hardness testers evaluate a material's strength, ductility, and resistance. Hardness can be determined either by measuring the depth of the indenter penetration or the measurement of the impression created by the indenter. Because hardness is a subjective quality, hardness should be judged in relation to specific loads on the indenter, indenter geometry, and loading time profiles.
