Radio test sets diagnose the performance of radio systems by modulating and demodulating RF signals. General radio equipment, military tactical radios, and a host of other RF transmitting devices all require signal testing conducted with a test set. Most modern radio tests sets can modulate and demodulate CW, AM, FM, PM, and SSB signals and validate a range of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technologies, including P25 Phase 1 and 2, DMR, NXDN, TETRA, and dPMR devices.
