DailmerChrysler DC-10540 is an acceptance specification for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of electrical and electronic components and modules that reference this standard. The DailmerChrysler DC-10540's electrical requirements are contained in a separate document, PF-10541, which shall be referenced whenever this document is referenced. The requirements have been developed to assure compliance with present and anticipated domestic and foreign regulations and customer satisfaction regarding the EMC of vehicle E/E systems for MY 2004/2005 applications. DailmerChrysler DC-10540 is partially harmonized with the joint engineering standard, DC-10614 and will be replaced by DC-10614 for MY 2006/2007 and beyond applications when so referenced in the product specification.
