The Narda 8217 Microwave Oven Survey Meter is the least expensive, accurate microwave oven survey instrument available. The mid-scale reading (5 mW/cm2) of the single 0 to 10 mW/cm2 range corresponds to the allowable limit for ovens used in the United States, Canada, and most of Europe. The Narda 8217 is extremely easy to use. Its detection circuitry uses a patented spiral antenna design. It comes complete with a beaker and thermometer to measure the output power of the oven in addition to its leakage. The meter, beaker, thermometer, and manual store in a rugged, foam-lined carrying case.
