The Haefely PSURGE 4.1 AC surge generator simulates the Combination Wave Generator (CWG) and 10/700 telecom impulses used to test for Lightning Protection.1.2/50µS open circuit voltage impulse from 0.2 to 4.2kV and 8/20µS short circuit current impulse give a dynamic impedance of 2Ω.

10/700µS open circuit voltage from 0.2 to 4.4kV and 4/300µS short circuit current impulse meet most telecom test requirements. 12 impulses per minute can be generated with positive, negative or alternative polarity. Integrated 16Aac/10Adc single-phase coupler with automatic switching of coupling elements for common and differential mode testing. Air cored decoupling inductors do not saturate and maintain impulse shape under all conditions. Printer interface for test report printout including test parameters and impulse measurement results.
