The SCS Alpha Metals 500M Ionograph is an ionic contamination tester designed to test ionic contamination accurately and quickly, assuring clean lines to comply with MIL-STD-2000A, ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-TM-650, and other standards. The large test cell is used to control both non-cleaning and cleaning processes in assembled/printed circuit board production.
The Specialty Coating Systems Ionograph 500M also performs cleanliness tests of cleanroom products - tools, manufacturing equipment, gloves, gowns and assembly components that are critical in the production process. Spray fluxer set-up and monitoring as well as low residue / non-clean processes can also be controlled with the SCS Alpha Metals 500M Ionograph rental unit.
Alpha Metals 500M Ionograph units are controlled by PC or the Ionograph 500M Command Module, helping to determine whether products comply with common industry standards. Amongst a variety of applications, the 500M Ionograph rental tests components and boards prior to flux application, avoiding encapsulated contaminants.
The Large-sized test module can handle a broad range of component sizes. The test cell is 14" X 20" and the unit runs on 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 5A.
The SCS Ionograph 500M Ionic Contamination Test was previously the Alpha Metals Ionograph 500M.
