Com-Power
Com-Power CDN-C75 Coupling/Decoupling Network (CDN)
Coupling / Decoupling Networks (CDN) are for testing from 150 kHz - 80 MHz according to the EN 61000-4-6 / IEC 61000-4-6 standard for immunity to conducted disturbance induced by radio frequency fields. As the name implies the CDNs has both coupling and decoupling networks. The coupling network delivers injected RF common mode current disturbance signals through the various conductors to the equipment under test (EUT). The decoupling networks are used insure that the disturbing signals injected on the signal or power line of the EUT by the coupling networks does not interfere with any the auxiliary equipment (AE) connected to the EUT. Each CDN contains integrated direct capacitive coupling along with the high impedance choke for inductive decoupling.
The disturbing signal can be injected on signal lines and power line of an EUT by using the appropriate CDN described below. The CDN setup must be calibrated to establish the drive table. Please use the appropriate calibration components for the CDN. For each CDN you will need:
- Calibration adapters
- 2 units of the 150 Ω to 50 Ω adapter
- 1 unit of the 50 Ω Terminator
- Optional Ground plane
C series CDNs for shielded coax cables
The C series CDNs are for injecting disturbing signals on to 50 Ω (CDN-C75) and 75 Ω (CDN-C75) shielded coax cables. These CDN have BNC connectors for EUT and AE connections.
