The Com-Power CDN-M425 Coupling/Decoupling Network (CDN) is for testing units in the range of 150 kHz - 80 MHz according to the EN 61000-4-6 standard for immunity to conducted disturbance induced by radiofrequency fields. As the name implies, the Com-Power CDN-M425 has both coupling and decoupling networks. The coupling network delivers injected RF common mode current disturbance signals through the various conductors to the equipment under test (EUT). The decoupling networks are used to ensure that the disturbing signals injected on the signal or power line of the EUT by the coupling networks do not interfere with any the auxiliary equipment (AE) connected to the EUT.
Each Com-Power CDN-M425 contains integrated direct capacitive coupling along with a high impedance choke for inductive decoupling. The disturbing signal can be injected on signal lines and power lines of a EUT by using the appropriate CDN described below. The CDN setup must be calibrated to establish the drive table. Please use the appropriate calibration components for the CDN.
For each CDN you will need:
- Calibration adapters
- 2 units of the 150 Ω to 50 Ω adapter
- 1 unit of the 50 Ω terminator
- Optional ground plane
