The EM-7600 Transient Limiter is used to prevent damage to the sensitive RF input circuitry of spectrum analyzers from power line transients encountered when using a LISN for conducted EMI measurements. The EM-7600 has a constant 10 dB loss over the 9 kHz to 100 MHz frequency range and has a high pass filter to attenuate the power line frequency and its harmonics. The EM-7600 can handle as much as 10 watts average power or up to 10 KW for 10 usec transient surges.
