The California Instruments 3091LD programmable AC load is a 3000 VA non-linear load for AC power testing. These loads are ideal in applications that call for precisely-controlled loads, such as the testing of UPSs and AC sources. It can also test active or passive current-carrying devices like fuses, switches, circuit breakers, connectors and semiconductors. These units offer an authentic simulation of worst-case operating conditions. The load can also simulate high crest factor and variable power factor load conditions.
