The EMSCAN ERX EMC Scanner is an EMC and EMI diagnostic test system with a frequency range of 150 kHz to 8 GHz and 1,218 (42 x 29) H-field probes. EMSCAN ERX devices are implemented by engineers to aid in the visualization of emissions to determine EMC and EMI faults both before and after EMC compliance testing.

Eight levels of resolution are available for engineers so that they can identify hot spots, current loops and intermittent issues in real time, and then zoom in on the problem, choosing a resolution level dependent on the density of the board design. EMSCAN ERX devices are essential tools for seeking out, characterizing and eliminating unintentional radiators and RF leakage.
