The Agilent PHD-4 Portable Helium Leak Detector identifies small, imperceptible leaks of helium and air pressure, sensitive to concentrations of helium as small as 2 ppm. Surpassing the capacity of other leak detection methods like bubble testing, the Agilent PHD-4 detects emissions equivalent to a leak rate of 5x 10-6 atm-cc/sec. Precise detection selectivity ensures helium leaks are isolated in testing, ignoring all other gases and emissions. This leak detector's sensitivity can be attributed to selective ion pump detection technology, which is rendered simple and accessible for technicians by the microprocessor-controlled system interface. Sensitivity is adjustable to mitigate helium consumption and the cost of performing testing. Wait three minutes and your Agilent PHD-4 will finish performing a fully automatic start-up procedure, operating either on battery power or connected to an outlet.
