The Amplifier Research 250S1G6 Solid State Amplifier produces 250W of power over a frequency range of .7-6.0GHz and features a Class A, self-contained, air-cooled design ideal for applications in which instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and linearity are necessary. The amplifier is housed in a stylish, modern cabinet and is designed for benchtop use, but can also be immediately mounted on your equipment rack. When utilized as a sweep generator, the Amplifier Research 250S1G6 offers a full 250W of RF power mediated by a front panel gain control, which empowers operators to conveniently set a desired output level. When RF input level is increased above 0 dBm, a built-in input leveling circuit controls the RF level input level to the RF amplifier in the first stage. The digital display indicates operation status and fauilt conditions, with indications available remotely in GPIB/IEEE-488 format with RS-232 hardwire and fiber optic, USB and Ethernet connections.
