Solar Electronics 7399-3 Spike Generator

The Solar Electronics 7399-3 Spike Generator is a transient immunity unit that provides high-energy spikes with adjustable amplitudes that reach up to 2500 V peak low impedance loads, meeting require MIL-STD-1399, section 300B standards. There is a SYNC TEST function that enables trigger circuit adjustment of the associated oscilloscope for single pulse responses, providing spike placements on the power frequency waveform (50, 60, or 400 Hz power lines). The Solar 7399 generator provides many operational modes including repetitive spikes at two pulses per minute and an individual switch for controlled single non-synchronous spikes.
