The Anritsu MS2850A Spectrum Analyzer / Signal Analyzer provides a max. analysis bandwidth of 1 GHz and a frequency range of 9 kHz to either 32 GHz or 44.5 GHz. 5G mobile and broadcast satellites are expected to see an increase in future deployment, and this spectrum and signal analyzer is designed for the 5G world. The signal analyzer function harnesses the power of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis to support spectrum displays, spectrogram displays, and applications where frequency and phase change with elapsed time. In addition, frequency bands required for 5G measurements are covered and all-in-one evaluation of multicarrier signals is supported by the 5G measurement software. Amplitude and phase flatness performance over the wide analysis bandwidth of 1 GHz exceeds that of competing signal analyzers. With this level of performance, the Anritsu MS2850A is capable of supporting high-accuracy amplitude and phase measurements for each carrier in wideband communications systems to play a key role in improving the quality of radio communications equipment in the 5G era.
