The Haefely PSURGE 30.2 Surge Test System generates atmospheric lightning in power circuits, simulating high-energy surges. With impulse voltages up to 30 kV and impulse currents up to 30kA, these surges provide various pulse durations and coupling paths. Haefely’s PSURGE 30.2 test system can be utilized in various applications with its built-in microprocessor control unit. The unit acts as the user interface, managing all internal functions, as well as providing system software to detect the impulse module type.
With a remote-control option, this enables users to utilize WinPATS control and reporting software. The remote and software integration enhances performance when operating Haefely’s PSURGE 30.2, allowing test load computer transfers, providing valuable resource space, and ensures optimal and secure connections through the component.
