The Rohde & Schwarz HE300 Active Directional Antenna is a device with a frequency range of 20 MHz to 7.5 GHz. The HE300 locates RF interference. Finding these signals is a necessary task for ensuring system quality.
The device has an input impedance of 50 Ω, operating temperature range of –30°C to +55°C, and more. With a portable, compact design, the R&S HE300 antenna is user-friendly and easy to transport from site to site. The dimensions are approximately 12.2 in × 3.5 in × 22.8 in (310 mm × 90 mm × 580 mm), and the weight is approximately 3.3 lb. (1.5 kg).
The R&S HE300 can be rotated before being plugged in to allow for horizonal and vertical polarization. When in active mode, the built in amplifier enhances the sensitivity of the system. When in passive mode, the HE300 is able to work near the source of strong signals by bypassing the amplifier. The amplifier is a low-noise wideband RF amplifier. The Rohde & Schwarz HE300 Active Directional Antenna can be used with the PR100 receiver, which ATEC also carries. When pair together, the HE300 and PR100 can use a triangulation feature to locate a target on a map.
