Fairchild

Founded in 1957 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Fairchild has become an international entity in the field of the production of semiconductors, computer networks, lighting, and circuit protection. Fairchild was one of the pioneers in successfully manufacturing transistors and integrated circuits. Since its founding, Fairchild grew to have a presence in the United States, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, and China. Fairchild's product line ranges from analog and mixed-signal chips to discrete power and signal components. In 2016 Fairchild was acquired by ON Semiconductor Corporation.
