SCI (Slaughter Company Incorporated)
SCI (Slaughter Company Incorporated) began in 1953 with the simple idea of creating an improved dielectric tester. The company's founder, Elmer Slaughter, used his expertise as a chief engineer to craft the upgraded testing device.
After succeeding with the dielectric tester, the Slaughter Company quickly built a reputation for manufacturing reliable and efficient testing products. The company grew rapidly and crafted an automatic test system in 1975, eventually partnering with Associated Research and Ikonix Group in 1997. After settling in Lake Forest, Illinois, the business adopted its current name in 2015, SCI or Slaughter Company Incorporated.
In the last decade, the company has continued improving its trusted line of dielectric testers and hipot testers. With both the 290 and 440 series, SCI further simplified their AC and DC hipot testing, with equipment that is both easy-to-use and versatile. SCI also made strides with Ground Bond testers, as their 260 series combines efficient use with an intuitive interface that's ideal for both manufacturing and laboratory testing.
