Programmable AC electronic loads simulate a variety of AC electrical conditions according to preset settings following specific types of systems such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) or off-grid inverters. Typical operating modes, particularly on Chroma units, include constant current (CC), constant resistance (CR), constant power (CP), and constant voltage (CV), with the former three used for regulated voltage power supply testing.
