HDW Electronics

HDW Electronics, now acquired by Megger, were considered the pioneers in cable fault locating. They were most known for inventing the Arc Reflection Method in the early 1950's, which is the most commonly used fault locating method today. HDW's products were well known for their high quality and durability, with a rugged mechanical design complemented by reliable electrical / electronic components and professional internal packaging. The environment in which the equipment performs is tough and their testing methods reflect that urgency in quality.
