The Montena NEMP140 is a transportable radiated susceptibility test system designed to evaluate the immunity of electronic equipment and subsystems to nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP) environments in accordance with the MIL-STD 461 RS105 test procedure. The system generates a high-voltage pulse that propagates along a radiating line above a conductive ground plane, creating a vertically polarized electromagnetic field capable of exceeding 50 kV/m within the test area. Designed for EMC compliance testing, the NEMP140 offers a charging voltage range of less than 5 kV to 80 kV with positive or negative polarity, a pulse rise time of 2.3 ± 0.5 ns, and a pulse duration of 23 ± 5 ns. These capabilities make the Montena NEMP140 an ideal solution for MIL-STD-461 RS105 radiated susceptibility testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and NEMP immunity evaluation in defense, aerospace, and electronics applications.
