Portable Aerosol Monitor

The Thermo Scientific pDR-1500 is a portable aerosol monitor made for real-time measurement of particulate concentrations ranging from 0.001 to 400 mg/m³. It accommodates particle sizes from 0.1 to 10 µm and supports PM10, PM4, PM2.5, and PM1 measurements with interchangeable cyclones. The pDR-1500 includes an integrated sample filter for post-gravimetric validation, features environmental compensation for temperature and humidity variations, and is suitable for NIOSH Methods 0500 and 0600. It logs over 500,000 data points, including concentration, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure, and offers USB and RS-232 connectivity for data export. With a flow rate adjustable between 1.0 and 3.5 L/min and analog output options, it supports applications in occupational health, environmental monitoring, and industrial hygiene. The pDR-1500 operates for over 24 hours on 4 AA batteries at 1.2 L/min flow.
