The M Precision Laboratories MiniZap MZ-15/EC ESD Simulator operates over a frequency range of ±0.5 to 15 kV in air discharge mode and can be used for direct, indirect and diagnostic ESD testing. With the MiniZap, manufacturers of computers and other semiconductor-based equipment can implement meaningful, dependable, company-wide ESD simulation testing with results that correlate throughout the industry. The M Precision Laboratories MiniZap MZ-15/EC ESD simulator generates simulation pulses, which are repeatable and correctable. This test instrument is integrated into one light-weight, hand-held unit that can be easily stored in any standard tool kit. By interchanging plug-in tips, the MiniZap MZ-15/EC ESD simulator allows you to meet both the IEC 61000-4-2 standard's 0.7 to 1.0 ns risetime, and to generate a <200ps ESD risetime.
