The Megger Pinpointer model MPP2000 is engineered for precise and rapid fault detection in underground cable networks. The MPP2000 features user-friendly menus that provide advanced flexibility for experienced users. Encased in a lightweight, ergonomic, and rugged IP54-rated housing, the MPP2000 can be carried hands-free with its adjustable neck strap. Compatible with any manufacturer's surge generator, the MPP2000 detects acoustic and electromagnetic fields generated by the flashover at the fault point, using a lightweight ground microphone equipped with a shield to minimize wind noise.
