The Amphenol FSI 525N-30 Multimode Optical Line Tester is a compact, handheld instrument that incorporates an Auto Test feature, optical power meter, and NAVSEA certified MQJ assemblies. Amphenol FSI 525N-30 units can be used to measure insertion loss in a duplex or simplex tests. The addition of a second 525N-30 unit will enable a technician to perform bi-directional testing simultaneously on two fibers significantly reducing overall test time required.

The Amphenol FSI 525N-30 is fitted with a PC universal connector interface on the laser source and a snap-on connector on the power meter, permitting the unit to be used with compatible connectors.
