The Amplifier Research 500T2G8 is a broadband TWT amplifier that generates 500 W of continuous wave output power over a frequency range of 2.5 GHz to 7.5 GHz. AR 500T2G8 amplifiers are housed in a stylish, modern cabinet and feature a built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface, VSWR protection and gain control. A front panel screen displays both forward and reflected output as well as essential system status info, with status indicators to streamline operation like warm-up, standby, faults and more. Amplifier Research 500T2G8 units also monitor the TWT helix current, collector voltage, cathode voltage, heater current and more.
