The Megger S1-1568 Insulation Resistance Tester delivers 90-264 V rms of AC voltage at a frequency of 50/60 Hz and 200 A of power, providing to 4.5 hours of continuous testing at 15 kV with a 100 MΩ load. Power utilities and service companies working in generation, transmission and distribution markets utilize insulation resistance units to perform quantitative tests which indicate the effectiveness of a products' electrical insulation. Class-leading charge current, noise rejection and software filters qualify Megger S1-1568 devices as top-market insulation resistance testers. Instrument productivity is a focus of the Megger S1-1568, offering rapid charge batteries and operation from an AC source when the battery is flat.
