The Megger MRCT Relay and Current Transformer Test Set is engineered for thorough testing of relays and current transformers. It features capabilities such as simultaneous multi-tap measurements, reducing test times by 20% on multi-tap CTs. The MRCT test set includes an integrated single-phase relay testing system and supports grouped testing tasks including demagnetization, knee points, ratios, and saturation curves. It can measure all ratios and saturation curves with just one lead connection. Additional options include a DC excitation technique for testing CTs with knee points up to 30 kV and an integrated VT/CVT test system for expanded functionality. The MRCT is particularly suitable for applications involving both metering and protection class CTs.
